To commemorate Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Vans partnered with Get Lit - Words Ignite, a non-profit whose mission is to increase literacy, empower youth, and inspire communities through poetry. As a brand that stands for creative expression, we uplifted the poetry of four young Asian American poets - Jelina Hendrickson, Afrah Alam, Della Dragon, and Gordon Ip. Their voices weren’t edited or censored.
Additionally, a donation was made to the Asian Mental Health Collective, a non-profit organization with a mission to normalize and de-stigmatize mental health within the Asian community.
